So last night it was a bit cold and rainy so we decided to just go across the street to one of the local "restaurants". We had no idea what this place was but two blokes welcomed us in and proudly showed us their barbecue basically which had an encouraging amount of meat on it. We were ushered into the next room which had lots of locals in it, nice and cosy. The lady asked one or two, we said two, and that was ordering taken care of. So out comes two large Greek salads and some bread, then two plates of chips with 6 pork steaks on top. Of each. Dig in folks. Holy moly. We gave it a red hot go but couldn't quite knock it off, fortunately it seemed quite standard to take a doggy bag away with you so that was today's lunch sorted as well. But it was nice to share an evening with regular folks just hanging out gorging oneself. Silly me didn't take the camera though, so here are some photos from yesterday.

The back streets at night. Pretty huh? |
Tomorrow the plan is to bus south to Ancient Corinth, then further south after that. It's beer o'clock here, so it's "adio" from me. Speaking of beer, 90 cents for half a litre. That's a bargain.
